2015 UCI Indoor Cycling World Championships: change of Malaysian venue

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) announces a change of venue for the 2015 UCI Indoor Cycling World Championships next month.

This leading event of the year for the disciplines of artistic cycling and cycle-ball will be held in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The city near the border of Singapore is approximately 215km south of the original venue of Melaka.

Following the request from the Malaysian National Cycling Federation to change the venue, the UCI Technical Delegate visited Johor Bahru and confirmed that it meets the strict criteria necessary to host a UCI World Championships.

Fourteen National Federations have already registered teams for the 2015 UCI Indoor Cycling World Championships which will take place from November 20 to 22.
