With 12 races over nine days of competition, the Norwegian city of Bergen is expecting crowds of around 500,000 fans to the region for the 2017 UCI Road World Championships in September. That is without counting the athletes, officials and media.
So don’t wait.
While it is free to watch the racing through the streets of Bergen and surrounding areas, the event’s hospitality partner Possibility AS has organised different paying packages including for “fan zones” where people will have access to screens and refreshments, and more upmarket “hospitality” areas with televisions, food and drink. These can be booked by individuals and groups.
Hotels are limited during the competition (September 16-24), and for the last three days, hotel rooms are only available for booking via hospitality tickets. Anyone buying a Gold or Premium ticket between September 16 and 21 will have access to hotel room booking.
