The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is delighted to announce that seven riders are candidate for a position as BMX Racing representative on the UCI Athletes' Commission. Women Stefany HERNANDEZ (VEN) Laura SMULDERS (NED) All athletes registered at the UCI Elite BMX World Championships to be held next week in Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA, will be able to vote for one representative per gender. The vote will be held on Friday 28 July between 18.10 and 21.40 during practice. The election results will be announced on Saturday 29 July at the end of the Championships. The members of the Commission will be elected for a term of four years, with the mandate effective from the UCI Congress of 2017 until 2021.
