Decisions of the Licence Commission for the 2017 season

In accordance with the UCI Regulations and following a full review of all criteria for attribution, the Licence Commission has decided to grant a UCI WorldTour licence for a period of two years to the following teams.

The registration procedure of team SOUL BRASIL PRO CYCLING TEAM (SOU – BRA) has been provisionally suspended following the referral of the team to the UCI Disciplinary Commission (see press release of 16 November 2016).

For those teams still under review, the UCI will make an announcement in due course. UCI President Brian Cookson said: “This is an exciting time and I am really looking forward to the arrival of new partners on the 2017 UCI WorldTour. The confidence shown by both new and existing sponsors confirms the growing interest in men’s professional road cycling’s major competition. With new teams and a global calendar enhanced with new races, the forthcoming season promises to be more exciting than ever.”
