After five years competing as a pilot for a blind athlete (the pair won four Paralympic medals at Athens 2004), Katie decided to focus on cyclo-cross. In Belgium in 2007 she became the first American woman to make the podium of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships. With 11 national titles to her name in the last 12 years, it is safe to say that she has dominated the women’s CX scene in the USA. To cloture the UCI cyclo-cross season, Katie shares a few things most of us don’t know about her!
