Liam Phillips won his first race at the tender age of 10 and hasn’t looked back since. A broken collarbone in 2012 compromised the British rider’s hopes of winning Olympic gold at home, but he still made the Final. He never gave up and came back the year after to win the 2013 UCI BMX World Champion title. No doubt the BMX superstar has Rio 2016 in his sights. He started the 2015 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup in a perfect way by winning – for the 3rd time in a row – the initial round in Manchester. A true role model and inspiration to the next generation, Liam Phillips is also very approachable and answered to our iLike interview without any hesitation. Let’s get started!
