Para-cycling in 2015: a brief look back

At the UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands,we caught up with multiple UCI Para-cycling Track World Champion Jody Cundy (Great Britain), who is aiming to compete in his sixth Paralympic Games in Rio 2016.

Alyda Norbruis, the Netherlands

At the UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands, Alyda Norbruis (C2) won three world titles on the track, in the 500m, 3km individual pursuit and scratch races. In doing so, she broke the 500m World Record with a time of 39.959.

Italy

The Italian team of Vittorio Podesta (MH3), Luca Mazzone (MH2) and Alessandro Zaardi (MH5) won the mixed team relay at the UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships in Nottwil, Switzerland. All three also won their categories in both the time trial and road race.
