Race of the month - Tour Colombia 2.1The Tour Colombia 2.1, previously called Colombia Oro y Paz, completed its second edition on February 17th after six days of racing in the mountainous Antioquia region around Medellín, Colombia. Part of the UCI America Tour, the UCI 2.1 event covered 833 kilometres over the six stages.The race opened with a 14km team time trial, won by EF Education First, with team leader Rigoberto Uran donning the leader's jersey. Uran lost the jersey on the second stage to stage winner Alvaro Jose Hodeg (Deceuninck-Quick Step) but regained it on the following stage. Stage 4 saw the win go to Bob Jungels (Deceuninck-Quick Step), who also took the overall lead, which was then transferred to his team mate Julian Alaphilippe on Stage 5.  However, the final stage proved to be decisive, with Nairo Quintana (Movistar Team) winning the stage, but Miguel Angel Lopez (Astana Pro Team) claiming the overall title after finishing third on the stage. Local Colombian riders dominated the standings, taking the top six spots, and all but one of the top-15.
