Now in its sixth year, the White Spot / Delta Road Race took place on July 8th. The UCI 1.2 circuit race is held in Tsawwassen, on the outskirts of Vancouver, Canada, and attracts the top North American squads. American riders have won four times and Canadians twice, including this year's edition, which was won by Adam de Vos of the UCI Pro Continental squad Rally Cycling.
The race takes place on a figure-8 circuit of 12.95 kilometres, which the riders cover 12 times for a total of 155.4 kilometres.
The Rally Cycling team dominated the race, covering all breakaway attempts and sending off attacks of their own, with de Vos finally getting clear in the last half lap with Kaler Marshall of the United States. De Vos' team mate Eric Young won the field sprint for third.
