The 2016 UCI Trials World Cup will get underway on May 20-21, in Krakow, Poland, for the first of five rounds, one more then in 2015. Krakow was the opening round in both 2014 and 2015. After a seven week hiatus, the series will then move to Les Menuires, France, for Round 2 on July 9-10. Round 3 is in Vocklabruck, Austria (July 30-31), before returning to France for the next round at Albertville (August 20-21). The 2016 World Cup concludes in Antwerp, Belgium, on September 24-25, where the overall titles will be awarded.

… the UCI Trials World Cup
This is the 17th edition of the UCI Trials World Cup. The series stretches back to the first ever event, in Hanover, Germany, in 2000. This is the third consecutive year that Krakow, Poland, will host the opening round. Antwerp, Belgium, the UCI World Cup Final for 2016, holds the record for most appearances in the World Cup: 2016 is its seventh consecutive year on the calendar.
Abel Mustieles
Spanish rider Abel Mustieles comes into the 2016 season wearing the rainbow jersey as the UCI World Champion in the men's 20" category - his fourth world title - and is ranked number one in the world. He finished the 2015 World Cup in second place overall.
