One month after Round 2 of the UCI Trials World Cup, the series resumed at the Grote Markt in Antwerp, Belgium, for Round 3 on September 22-23.
In the women's competition, UCI World Champion and two-time defending UCI World Cup winner Nina Reichenbach of Germany continues to dominate, winning her third straight World Cup. Manon Basseville of France was second, followed by Nadine Kamark of Sweden. Reichenbach leads the standings with a perfect 600 points, while Basseville jumps from fifth to second with 410 points, and Kamark moves up to third from fourth with 395 points.In the men's 26" category, Round 1 winner Jack Carthy of Great Britain took his second win of the season, ahead of Round 2 winner Nicolas Vallee of France and Kenny Belaey of Belgium. This is Jack Carthy's sixth consecutive win in Antwerp, a remarkable record. Carthy continues to lead the overall standings with 495 points, followed by Vallee at 450 and Gilles Coustellier of France in third at 390.Six different nations were represented in the 20" men's final, with Spain's Alejandro Montalvo, who is still a Junior-aged rider, taking his second consecutive win ahead of Dominik Oswald of Germany and Thomas Pechhacker of Austria. Montalvo extends his lead in the overall standings (540 points), while Pechhacker moves up from fourth to second and Round 1 winner Benito Ros of Spain drops to third.

Twenty-five-year old Nadine Kamark of Sweden has been competing in trials since 2008. However, it was only in 2017 that she decided to put her graduate studies in Applied Mechanics on hold to focus on the UCI World Cup. By the end of 2017, her efforts paid off with a third place in the fifth round of the World Cup and second at the UCI World Championships. This season, she finished second in Round 1 and third in Round 3, and lies in third overall going into the final round.
