Track cycling candidates for the UCI Athletes’ Commission announced

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is delighted to announce that nine riders are candidate for a position as track cycling representative on the UCI Athletes' Commission.

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is delighted to announce that nine riders are candidate for a position as track cycling representative on the UCI Athletes' Commission. One male and one female athlete will be elected to the Commission. Candidates are:

Men Andreas Müller (AUT), Kenny De Ketele (BEL), Morgan Kneisky (FRA), Maximilian Levy (GER), Azizulhasni Awang (MAS).

Women Laurie Berthon (FRA), Kristina Vogel (GER), Lee Wai Sze (HKG), Natasha Hansen (NZL).

All athletes registered at the UCI Elite World Championships to be held next week in Hong Kong will be able to vote for one representative per gender. The vote will be held on Tuesday 11 April between 9.30 and 19.30 at the entrance to the infield track for riders and teams accessing the team areas.

The election results will be announced during the UCI World Championships (12-16 April).

The members of the Commission will be elected for a term of four years, with the mandate effective from the UCI Congress of 2017 until 2021.
