The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) today announces that Lemgo (Germany) will host the second round of the 2021 UCI Artistic Cycling World Cup on 7 August.
Lemgo replaces Komarno (Slovakia) where the event was initially scheduled to take place on 20 March before being postponed to 26 June, then finally cancelled at the request of the organisers due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The UCI would like to thank the organisers concerned for their cooperation in this difficult situation and is pleased for the athletes, their teams and their supporters, to be able to ensure the staging of the second round of the series.
The first round of the 2021 UCI Artistic Cycling World Cup took place in Uzwil (Switzerland) on 19 June. The series will end on 23 October in Albstadt (Germany).
