Following the registration procedure for UCI professional teams (UCI Women's WorldTeams, UCI WorldTeams and UCI ProTeams), the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) today announces the names of the teams registered for the 2024 season.
The 2024 season marks the start of the second licensing cycle for UCI Women's WorldTeams, following the cycle that began with the creation of this category in 2020 and ended in 2023. At the end of the 2023 season, the 15 available licences have been allocated for the 2024-2025 period.
N.B.: from 2026, the 15 UCI Women's WorldTour licences will be allocated for a period of three years, in line with the duration of the UCI WorldTour licences.
UCI Women's WorldTeams (women's 1st division)
As part of the allocation of UCI Women's WorldTour licences for the 2024-2025 period, following a full review of the files received in light of all the applicable criteria (ethical, financial, administrative, organisational and sporting) and in accordance with the UCI Regulations (art. 2.13.035), the UCI Licence Commission has decided to award the 15 licences, subject to compliance with the provisions relating to annual registration during the period, to the following teams1:

As the number of teams applying was greater than the number of licences available, the sporting criterion was applied, in accordance with article 2.13.035 §2 of the UCI Regulations. As such, the application of the following team could not be accepted:
LABORAL KUTXA - FUNDACION EUSKADI (LKF - ESP).
This team will therefore be registered as a UCI Women's Continental Team in 2024, subject to the agreement of the National Federation concerned, in accordance with the provisions of article 2.13.057 of the UCI Regulations.

The UCI has registered (art. 2.15.070 of the UCI Regulations) the following 18 UCI WorldTeams - which already hold a UCI WorldTour licence and whose application has been deemed compliant by the UCI - for the 2024 season:

In addition, after summoning the teams that had not been able to be registered directly by the UCI, the Licence Commission decided to register the following UCI ProTeam for the coming season:

The registration procedure for UCI Women's WorldTeams, UCI WorldTeams and UCI ProTeams for the next season has now been completed. A total of 15 UCI Women's WorldTeams, 18 UCI WorldTeams and 17 UCI ProTeams have been registered for the 2024 season.
Compulsory invitations (art. 2.1.007bis)
As the top two UCI ProTeams listed in the 2023 UCI World Ranking for teams, the following UCI ProTeams are invited to all UCI WorldTour events for the 2024 season:

As the third highest ranked UCI ProTeam in the 2023 UCI World Ranking for teams, the following UCI ProTeam is invited to the UCI WorldTour one-day events for the 2024 season:

As the top two UCI Women's Continental Teams listed in the 2023 UCI Women's World Ranking for teams and subject to their registration, the following UCI Women's Continental Teams are invited to all UCI Women's WorldTour events for the 2024 season:
