Call for bids: the UCI reveals the list of UCI World Championships to be awarded at its next Congress

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is pleased to publish the list of UCI World Championships that are open for bidding and whose hosts will be announced at the next UCI Congress, in September 2024, during the UCI Road and Para-cycling Road World Championships in Zurich, Switzerland.

The events that will be awarded are:

  • 2025 UCI Snow Bike World Championships

  • 2025 and 2026 UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships

  • 2025 and 2026 UCI Indoor Cycling World Championships 

  • 2026 and 2027 UCI Masters Track World Championships 

  • 2028 UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships

  • 2028 UCI Junior Track World Championships

  • 2028 and 2029 UCI Urban Cycling World Championships 

  • 2028 and 2030 UCI Track World Championships

  • 2028, 2029 and 2030 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships

  • 2029 UCI Gravel World Championships

  • 2029 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships

  • 2029 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships

  • 2029 UCI BMX Racing World Championships

  • 2029 and 2030 UCI Road World Championships

  • 2031 UCI Cycling World Championships.

Candidates are requested to send the UCI a letter of support from their local authorities and National Federation by 31 December 2023, as well as their completed bidding file and fee by 31 January 2024 at the latest.
