Call for bids: the UCI reveals the list of UCI World Championships to be awarded at its next Congress

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is pleased to publish the list of UCI World Championships that are now open for bidding. Successful candidates will be announced at the next UCI Congress, to be held in September 2026 during the 2026 UCI Road World Championships in Montréal, Canada.

The events that will be awarded are:

  • 2027 and 2028 UCI Snow Bike World Championships

  • 2027 and 2028 UCI Masters Cyclo-cross World Championships

  • 2028 and 2029 UCI Indoor Cycling World Championships

  • 2028 and 2029 UCI Masters Track World Championships

  • 2028 and 2029 UCI Masters Mountain Bike World Championships

  • 2029 UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships

  • 2029 UCI Junior Track World Championships

  • 2029 UCI Para Cycling Track World Championships

  • 2030 UCI Para Cycling Road World Championships

  • 2030 and 2032 UCI Gravel World Championships

  • 2030 and 2032 UCI BMX Racing World Championships

  • 2030 and 2032 UCI Urban Cycling World Championships

  • 2031 and 2032 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships

  • 2032 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships

  • 2032 UCI Road World Championships

  • 2032 UCI Track World Championships.

The bidding documents for the aforementioned events can be found on the UCI website.

Candidates are requested to send the UCI a letter of intent accompanied by confirmation of support from the relevant local authorities and their National Federation by 31 December 2025. They must also submit their completed bid file to the UCI and pay the related fee by 31 January 2026 at the latest.
