The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is pleased to announce that six athletes (two women and four men) are standing as candidates for the role of para-cycling representative on the UCI Athletes' Commission.
One woman and one man will be elected to the Commission.

All athletes competing in the 2025 UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships, which will take place in Ronse, Belgium, from 28 to 31 August, will be able to vote for one female and one male para-cycling representative. Voting will take place on site on 26 August from 9am to noon and from 1pm to 4pm, as well as on 27, 28 and 29 August from 9am to noon.
The results of the elections will be published on the UCI website on 30 August.
The members of the UCI Athletes' Commission will be elected for a four-year term. This term will begin at the 2025 UCI Congress in Kigali (Rwanda), or for members elected after this date, on the date of their election, and will end at the 2029 UCI Congress in Copenhagen (Denmark).
The UCI Athletes' Commission renewal process will end with the election of its President, which will take place during the first meeting of the newly-composed Commission, on 12 November 2025.
