The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) announces that the 2026 UCI Indoor Cycling World Championships will take place from 30 October to 1 November at the MHPArena in Ludwigsburg, Germany.
The event was originally scheduled to be held in Derby, Great Britain, from 16 to 18 October 2026, before the organiser announced that they were no longer able to ensure the event would go ahead.
The UCI would like to thank German Cycling, the new organiser of the event in collaboration with the agency 8action and Tourismus & Events Ludwigsburg, and its President Bernd Dankowski, for rising to the challenge of organising the event at such short notice. The UCI would also like to thank the Minister of Sport of the State of Baden-Württemberg, Theresa Schopper, under whose patronage these UCI World Championships will be held.
The world's finest artistic cycling and cycle-ball specialists will come together in Germany, historic home of both specialities, in just over a month's time to compete for the UCI World Champion titles.
