The UCI and Tissot extend their partnership

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and Tissot are pleased to announce the extension of the long-term partnership that has linked them since 1995.

As part of the partnership that celebrates 30 years in 2025, Tissot has been a UCI World Cycling Partner since 2017. This status reflects its long-standing commitment to cycling, for both its historic and more recent disciplines.

A supporter of cycling in all its forms, Tissot was Main Partner of the inaugural UCI Cycling World Championships, held in Glasgow and across Scotland (Great Britain) in 2023, which brought together 13 UCI World Championships in a single event. Tissot will also be Main Partner for the next editions of this event, including in 2027 when it will take place in Haute-Savoie (France) and in 2031 when the host will be Trentino (Italy).

Very active in track cycling, a discipline in which reliability, precision and innovation are at the forefront, Tissot, Official Timekeeper, remains Title Partner of the UCI Track World Championships and Presenting Sponsor of the prestigious UCI Hour Record.

Tissot's commitment extends to all cycling disciplines, as demonstrated by its dual status as Official Partner of the UCI Road World Championships, the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships, the UCI BMX Racing World Championships, the UCI Urban Cycling World Championships (which include the UCI World Championships for BMX Freestyle and trials) and the UCI Snow Bike World Championships, and as Official Timekeeper of the Federation.

The collaboration between the UCI and Tissot also covers the UCI Solidarity Programme. As part of this, Tissot works with the UCI World Cycling Centre (WCC) - the Federation's training and education centre in Aigle, Switzerland - supplying it with a state-of-the-art timing system.

UCI President David Lappartient said: “I am delighted that the partnership between our Federation and Tissot, a prestigious brand belonging to the world's largest watchmaking group, continues after almost 30 years. The UCI and Tissot are attached to both tradition and innovation, two areas which enable them to combine prestige, popularity and the conquest of new audiences. Cycling is constantly evolving and developing, and we are delighted to be able to count on Tissot to support us in our activities.”

Tissot CEO Sylvain Dolla said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with the UCI for the years to come. By providing them with an accurate and reliable timing system, we are supporting their events and riders, while meeting the expectations of a passionate public. Tissot and the UCI have been linked by a shared passion for almost 30 years. For Tissot, cycling is an integral part of its DNA and a source of inspiration for the creation of our watches, which not only give the time, but also evoke memories and emotions experienced during the UCI World Championships.”
