The Union Cycliste Internationale is pleased to announce the list of finalists for the second edition of the UCI Cycling for All & Sustainability Awards. These awards are presented each year to recognise outstanding initiatives implemented by members of the cycling family (including professional riders, teams, National Federations, event organisers and UCI Bike Cities and Regions) that have a positive social and environmental impact, promote active mobility and encourage everyday cycling.
The three finalists (in alphabetical order) in the different categories are as follows:
UCI Climate Action Award, recognising a cycling initiative with a positive environmental impact:
Arctic Race of Norway, the first professional cycling race to use 100% fully-electric cars
Flanders Classics for its sustainability plan and assessment of the 2025 UEC Road European Championships
UAE Team Emirates-XRG for its Road to Net-Zero initiative.
UCI Cycling for All Award, recognising a cycling initiative with a significant social impact:
British Cycling for its Limitless programme
South of Scotland Cycling Partnership / Scottish Borders Council for their fund for electric bike accessibility
UAE Team Emirates-XRG for its UAE Team Emirates-XRG Academy.
UCI Bike City Award, recognisingthe most innovative project submitted by UCI Bike Cities and Regions:
Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) for organising the 2025 MyWhoosh Ramadan Cycling Championship
Province of Treviso (Italy) for its Bike to Work - IPA Marca Trevigiana initiative
Wollongong (Australia) for its Wollongong Bike City Community Partners Program.
The UCI will announce the winners at the 2025 UCI Mobility and Bike City Forum, being organised on 20 and 21 June in Copenhagen, Denmark, as part of the Copenhagen Cycling Summit.
The winner of the UCI Rainbow Trophy, a special award selected by the jury from among all the submissions, will also be announced during the ceremony.
The finalists were selected from all the entries by a panel of seven renowned experts representing various fields of expertise (including active mobility, sustainability, academia, media and professional cycling):

Carly Gilbert-Patrick, Team Leader for Active Mobility, Digitalisation and Mode Integration at the United Nations Environment Programme
Peter Sagan, world-renowned professional cyclist and cycling advocate
Mike Laflin, CEO and founder of Global Sustainable Sport
Patrick Rérat, Professor and Co-Director of the University Observatory for Cycling and Active Mobility (OUVEMA) at the University of Lausanne
Amina Lanaya, UCI Director General.
