The UCI unveils the 2026 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup calendar

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and its partner Hurricane are pleased to announce today the calendar for the 2026 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup.

Comprising four rounds across three continents, the 2026 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup will start mid-May in Montpellier, France, as part of the Festival International des Sports Extrêmes (FISE), an event that attracts half a million spectators each year.

The second round will take place in Birmingham, Alabama, in the southern United States of America. This will mark the first time that this city of around 200,000 inhabitants hosts a round of the series.

The series will continue a little more than two months later, from 15 to 18 October, in Shanghai, the most populous city in China. Now a regular stop for the discipline, the megacity will host a round of the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup for the third year in a row.

The final round will be held from 26 to 29 November, at a venue to be confirmed.
