The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and its partner Hurricane are pleased to announce the dates and hosts of the rounds of the 2025 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup.
The first round of the series will start at the end of May in Montpellier, in the south of France, as part of the Festival International des Sports Extrêmes (FISE), an event that attracts half a million people every year. The second round will be held in October in Shanghai, China's most populous city with more than 24 million inhabitants, which hosts the event for the second consecutive year. The 2025 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup will conclude the following month in Sakai, Japan, a city in the Osaka metropolitan area on the island of Honshū. The Japanese competitions will take place indoors.

28 May - 1 June: Montpellier (France) - BMX Freestyle Park and Flatland
16 - 19 October: Shanghai (China) - BMX Freestyle Park and Flatland
27 - 30 November: Sakai (Japan) - BMX Freestyle Park and Flatland.
Two BMX Freestyle specialities are included at the UCI World Cup events: Park, in which athletes are judged on the tricks they perform on different modules, and Flatland, where tricks are performed on flat ground.
The 2025 UCI BMX Freestyle World Championships will be held as part of the UCI Urban Cycling World Championships in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) from 4 to 8 November, which will also include the UCI World Championships for trials.
