The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is pleased to announce the calendars for the 2026 to 2028 editions of the UCI World Cups for track and BMX Racing.
The publication of the calendars for the next three years of the UCI Track World Cup and UCI BMX Racing World Cup allows National Federations, teams and riders to optimally plan their preparation for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Both series will continue to play a crucial role in qualifying nations and riders for the respective disciplines’ UCI World Championships and Olympic competitions.
The UCI Track World Cup will succeed the UCI Track Nations Cup in 2026. It will consist of three rounds, including the Olympic events and the highly popular elimination race.
The UCI Track World Cup will benefit from extensive pan-European and global exposure through Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) Sports' linear, social and digital platforms, as well as its wider network which includes free-to-air broadcasters and partners across the European continent. In all territories where WBD will not offer coverage of the UCI Track World Cup, it will be possible to follow the event live on the UCI YouTube channel, subject to geo-blocking restrictions. The event will also be covered on the UCI's social media channels.

Its presence on four continents will give riders from all over the world the opportunity to earn Olympic qualification points. The UCI is delighted that rounds of the series will be organised in the United States, the country that will host the 2028 Olympic Games. Also noteworthy is the inclusion of China in the BMX Racing World Cup calendar for the first time. It should be noted that the 2028 edition of the series will end at the end of April (rather than October) in order to conclude before the start of the Los Angeles Olympics.
To support the global development of BMX Racing by expanding its audience, the UCI will continue to provide high-quality TV production of the UCI BMX Racing World Cup, as it has done since 2023. In addition to the TV channels holding the broadcasting rights, the event will be broadcast live on the UCI's YouTube channel, subject to geo-blocking restrictions, as well as on its social media channels.
