The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) today launches a call for bids for the hosting of the 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028 editions of the UCI Mobility & Bike City Forum.
The UCI Mobility & Bike City Forum is the UCI’s annual cycling for all and sustainability conference which brings together cycling leaders, experts in mobility and environmental issues, event organisers, representatives of the UCI Bike City and Region network, National Federations, Continental Confederations, and the industry, as well as policy makers, to exchange on the future of active mobility.
It is a two-day event which aims to share and highlight best practices, enable networking and collaboration, and inspire delegates through practical learning opportunities. It comprises a conference with experts and a round table the first day, followed by a second day of practical workshops led by experts and visits – by bike – of the host city’s facilities and infrastructure designed to share the city’s vision for active mobility.
The updated bid guide for the UCI Mobility & Bike City Forum has been published on the UCI website.
Candidates are requested to send their completed bid file by 1 September 2024 at the latest.
The UCI will announce the names of the future host cities selected by the UCI Management Committee during the 2024 UCI Mobility & Bike City Forum taking place on 18-19 December in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates).
