UCI launches new Fan Reward Programme

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is delighted to announce that it has launched a new Fan Reward Programme in partnership with Havas Sports and Fanprime.

Thanks to the new platform My World of Cycling, fans across the globe can live their passion to the full and be rewarded at the same time. Just by doing what they love doing, they can be in with a chance to win unparalleled prizes such as signed memorabilia, VIP access to UCI events, exclusive offers on articles from the UCI’s different partners, and other money-can’t-buy experiences such as meeting a star rider. It has already been confirmed that one lucky fan will win an exclusive VIP weekend in Les Gets (France) in August for the 2022 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships.

The aim of the platform is to reward fans for their loyalty and give back to the large and enthusiastic communities that follow our sport’s different disciplines. It is the first fan reward programme dedicated to cycling’s supporters.

The concept is simple and fun. Fans can earn points via a series of challenges (quests) enabling them to go into the draw to win the exclusive prizes on offer throughout the year. Access to the platform is free of charge, and first points can be won simply by creating a login. The first 1000 fans who create a profile on the platform will receive 1000 extra points, increasing their total in just a few clicks.

Once they have a login, fans will have multiple opportunities to win points – by scanning QR codes on the UCI website, social media platforms and at events, by answering quizzes correctly, and participating in different animations. Points can be earned online and in real life at events.

The launch of My World of Cycling has been timed to coincide with the beginning of the Mercedes-Benz UCI Mountain Bike World Cup, which kicks off in Lourdes (France) on 26 March. Watch out for opportunities to collect points at the UCI World Cup opener and as the season progresses. Animations and quests will also be available around all our other disciplines, ensuring there are opportunities for everyone to be in with a chance to win.

UCI Director General Amina Lanaya declared: “The enthusiasm, loyalty and support of fans are essential for our sport, and our new Fan Reward Programme is a way of thanking them for their commitment. By demonstrating that commitment, they can win incredible prizes and lifetime experiences that will reinforce their love of cycling. We hope to have tens of thousands of registered fans by the end of 2022.”

The first 1000 fans to register can win early points by entering the WELCOMEFIRST1000 redeem code on the website.
