UCI Women’s WorldTour: The UCI and Santini strengthen their partnership

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and Santini Cycling Wear are pleased to announce the expansion of their partnership on the UCI Women’s WorldTour for two years, starting in 2019.

The Italian clothing manufacturer and Official Supplier of Women’s WorldTour Leader and Best Young Jerseys will reinforce its support of the UCI. As well as the provision of jerseys, Santini Cycling Wear will work with the UCI to bring the Women Cycling story to life through digital activations.

By upgrading its presence in the major series of women’s professional road cycling, the Lombardia-based cycling clothes brand is moving a step further in its commitment to support women’s cycling both at professional and grassroot competition levels, and recreative cycling, with numerous clothing lines designed specifically for female riders.

Santini Cycling Wear is the long-standing official partner of the UCI’s cycling apparel and has designed the UCI World Champion’s rainbow jerseys since 1994, as well as the UCI World Cup leader’s jerseys for all disciplines and categories.

Santini Cycling Wear is also a proud supporter of the UCI and its World Cycling Center and commercialises a wide range of merchandising including cycling clothing with our rainbow stripes.

“We have been the official partner of the UCI since 1988, commented Monica Santini, CEO of Santini Cycling Wear. To be the Official Supplier of Women’s WorldTour Leader and Best Young Jerseys is confirmation of the work that we have done together, and the common desire to work closely with the highest level of global cycling, as well as our commitment to the development of women’s cycling.”

“We’re delighted about the increased commitment from Santini Cycling Wear to the development of the UCI Women’s WorldTour, said UCI President David Lappartient. Together with our historical partner, we’re joining our efforts to raise the profile of women’s professional riders and women’s cycling as a whole, one of the main pledges of the Agenda 2022.”
